Tomorrow I set sail on a family cruise. Awesome, right? It should be a lot of fun. I'm excited...
...but heres the thing, I keep stressing over one minor issue.
2 words: Bathing Suit.
And just like that all the excitement and happy thoughts completely evaporate.
Do those words strike fear into your heart like they do mine?
I know its probably the normal and expected reaction of teenage girls across the world. But seriously, I am freaking out!
Ok, ok, so I need to calm down. Deep breath. Positive self talk.
I am georgeous. I am confident. I am woman, hear me roar. I am...Heidi Klum!!!
I am going crazy...help!

Sick Girl's Survival List
Have you ever felt aweful?
I mean so-sick-you-cant-breathe,"Woe is me" aweful?
No fun, right?
Well, I am currently plagued with the worst cold I have ever had. Nothing helps. My mother has been simultaneously force feeding me nasty sick people food and shoving pills down my throat. I've probably downed atleast a dozn cups of water but the only result was twice as many bathroom trips. So what does a girl do to get some relief? Follow these steps:
1. Do not change out of your pj's. Comfort is your #1 priority. And when you think about, whats the point in trying to look nice when your red nose and pale skin give you away?
2. Sleep in as long as you possibly can. Smack off your alarm clock and soak up those precious hours of unconscienceness. As soon as you awaken, you're back in the cruel world of constant nose-blowing and painful hacking.
3. Take a long, hot bath. Do you really even need a reason?
4. Mac 'n' Cheese is your best friend. Enjoy the whole box and thank God for this surprisingly appealing, orange food.
5. Gilmore Girls. It does for the soul what mac 'n' cheese does for the body. Nuff said.
and get well soon!

Its Common Sense not Rocket Science
What is the #1 most important rule of any successful friendship?
(repeat after me)
"Friends before Guys."
(say it with me now)
"Friends before Guys."
Very Good. That was easy, right?
So why is following this rule so impossibly hard?

Age is Just a Number?
So I figure its about time to write something. I know what youre thinking. "Duh", right? I mean, that is the whole purpose of a blog. But the first time is always the hardest, and this is no exception. I guess the best way to start out would be to tell you why I decided to start a blog. It was kind of a birthday present to myself. I just turned seventeen and well, I don't like it. I really don't want to grow up. Let me rephrase that: I'm not old enough to grow up. So because there's nothing I can do to stop the horrible ageing process, I figured I could atleast make the most of this year. Blogging seemed like a good way to do that. So hopefully next birthday (18! I dont even want to think about that!) I can look back at an amazing year. So here's to being seventeen! Even though I'm still with Peter Pan on the whole never-growing-up thing.
Would somebody please point me the way to Neverland?
